DALLAS DAY

St Patty's day was full of wonderful spontaneous visitations of outdoor and indoor venues. My dear friend Sheila and I ventured first to The Dallas arboretum. Spring break provided the unexpected crowds of people with families in tow. It was a perfect day to get outside -a little overcast but temperature that made it easy to stroll and enjoy the amazing Flora and landscaping designs. Color color color. Tulips of multi colored magnificence and azalias were the dominant theme for this spring day. I'll include some pics of today. We later spent time in the downtown park created over the freeways.  Once again great day for families to be outside playing ball, an occasional kite flyer and lots of ones like us who just were enjoying people watching. Afterward we explored an older area of Dallas called Old Ellum.  Cool, eclectic, bohemian area remenescent of the Haight. Ate at a pub like restaurant of British flavor. To cap off the evening we attended a wonderful concert called Let It Be. 4 amazing young men performed in authentic Beatles style. Musically impeccable and stylistically mimicked movements and expressions of all 4 Beatles with great penache.  It was truly enjoyable and impressive.  Highly recommend it if you ever see it publicized. All in all a day of days. Thanks Sheila and thanks Dallas. I won't forget it!!
