DAY 1. MOBILE Alabama

Day one was quite successful. I drove for about seven and a half hours and it was truly comfortable and uncomplicated.  staying in a campground off I-10.  Lots of families in this park. I believe they are here full time.

So amazed how much easier this process is that I had anticipated. I would encourage anyone who has the Wanderlust as I do as a solo or with a companion to try it out. It's quite a freedom to carry your tiny home with you and get to move about the country. Feeling very satisfied with this choice. Not much to report as far as notable scenery however driving through mobile and seeing its waterfront and the location of the Naval Air Station in that Arena was quite impressive. Haven't paid much attention to architecture as yet. I will say that Wednesday I met a friend in DeLand Florida for lunch and that is quite a lovely town. I would like to see that again sometime. I intend to write every day. If nothing else this will help me turn on my trip. Anybody who's enjoying reading it. - my best to you.
