HOUSTON/CONROE/SPRING TX

I am still at that wonderful park in Conroe.  The night was cool and pleasant but awoke to a rather foggy morning. It burned off by about 9. In the meantime I Was preparing to go visit my old high school friend Leslye. I haven't seen her for over 45 years. I have kept up with her on Facebook. She told me stories I had forgotten and particularly seeing me after my son was born. Of course, after I left for California I lost track of many people. Glad to have the opportunity to reconnect. She is as Lively and energetic as I remember and had great stories of her life, family and successes. It was a lovely day. Her husband was recovering from some health setbacks so we did not get to meet  she and i may meet again tomorrow evening. I'm still loving this park.  Hope to have a morning walk. They have some hiking trails I would like to check out.
