ARIZONA

I left Albuquerque this morning. It was cool crisp and windy. I headed towards Arizona with the intention of staying in Flagstaff for a few days. It's a lovely mountainous area and it is closer to the Grand Canyon however after looking at the weather map I decided it was too cold there. It was going to be in the twenties at night this week and my little camper isn't the best insulated. So I headed a little bit South on 17 to Black Canyon City which has a very nice RV park here. The drive down was absolutely beautiful particularly on  hwy 17 as it takes you through  valleys and Hills.  The  vistas were extraordinary.  While I was crossing New Mexico I did get to the Continental Divide and took some pictures to commemorate it. As I continued to drive on Highway 40 West I also found a beautiful Vista of a snow-covered Mountain. I don't actually know the name of it yet but I will find out and post it tomorrow. I will post some of the pictures that I was able to take. I have to confess that I did some while I was driving, but carefully. Tomorrow I intend to do some sightseeing. I'm not really that interested to go back to the Canyon and I've been there a couple of times.  There are some interesting Lake sites one in particular that is called Montezuma's Lake and Sedona course. I'll write more tomorrow. Kind of tired from the travel today and went from quite a different type of weather pattern from where I was.
