Las Cruces

Yesterday was just a simple day. It wasn't just a matter of choice, the weather supported that decision. Woke up to pretty strange looking skies and a lot of dust storms. It really wreaks havoc with my sinuses and doing any kind of sightseeing was not on the agenda. Pragmatic day, laundry and errands etcetera. I did go to a Barnes & Noble store here in Las Cruces that focuses on the University of New Mexico students. It was funny, as the whole store was basically all the University of New Mexico t-shirts and everything and anything with a logo on it. I was looking for books but found a relatively small selection on the upper level. It's a bookstore, but very books. Lots of students and areas for sitting, reading, eating, studying, you get the picture.  Looking for books related to scenic route across the country. Today I plan to go to old Mesilla .
